When you see a heart, you automatically think of love or happiness. When you see a rain drop, you may think of sadness. A smiley face for happiness. What other other items resemble these feelings: Love, Sadness, happiness, anger. If you can think of other feelings, feel free to put them down. (If you're wondering, I'm drawing a picture, and i really need some ideas.)

Anger is a dark cloud. Anger is a fist. Anger is broken glass.
Happiness is a shining sun, a rainbow, a daisy.
Sadness is a fog, a broken twig, a trampled flower.
Pain is also a broken twig, a trampled flower; for sadness is a pain of the soul.
Pain is the color red, a bolt of lightning.
Love is a path to a sunset, the sunset itself.

Gee, that almost turned into poetry! Good luck with your picture; so how are you going to share it with us when it's done? :)

That blissful look on people's faces
Hands holding eachother
Wedding rings
The color red or pink
Lips
Cupid
Mistletoe
An ocean
A sunrise
When an eclipse happens

Actually, any item can represent any feeling. Making a tree shadowed and full of knots and crooks will make it have a dark, mysterious feeling, but a straight tree with sunshine over its plump fruits and leaves will give a happy feeling. Making it have no leaves at all and crooked branches will give an angry, sinister feeling, etc.
