I need a monologue for a play that I'll be auditioning for in about a month and a half, so there is no huge rush it would just be nice. The play is a christmas carol, so the monologue should work well with a british or cockney accent, and it can be dramatic or comic, whatever...thanks to anyone who answers any acting tips are more than welcome too, thank you all... : )

I recently signed up for JRP and have only attended one class. I'm nervous, because I've heard a lot about how that school might be a fraud. Will I get an agent at the end of the classes? Anyone who knows anything about this, please help!

I'm 17, and interested in acting. I don't have any experience, except school & church plays when I was a kid. (Which they usually cast me in the lead for, because I had a much better memory than most)

Any idea how I would get started?

What contributions did "Primal Theatre" of pre-history give us that we still use today? (the time of the mammoths...) Give examples from TV, film or theatre productions that use those contributions.

I need 7 elements for this and I already have these 6: storytelling, religion and theatre connection, rhythm, dance, masks and seasonal acts.

Can someone help me with the 7th contribution from primal theatre that we still use today?

Thanks a lot!

Hey! I am an aspiring actor, a young one :), and I have been acting since I was... oh, I want to say six or seven. Since then, in 99% of my shows, I have gotten leading or very good roles. (By the way, I am also a singer in musicals and school concerts with usually many solo's/duets) and I am thinking of getting an agent?

Where can I get one without a scam?

I have always wanted to act since I was a little girl (like most little girls, I imagine...lol). A college student, I would like to move to LA upon graduation to pursue an acting career. Unfortunately, my resume is not nearly as extensive as should be an aspring 21-year-old actress' resume. While I have tried to take advantage of as many acting opportunities as possible (college acting class electives, college choral groups, voice lessons), my hometown does not have a community theater... Before moving to LA, should I consider starting in a somewhat smaller venue?...I've heard Chicago, but I was wondering if you had any other suggestions...Thank you!!

Anyone else think that Ford's play poses an interesting test-case highlighting the results when an individual is allowed to make precisely such moral judgments. The play, while implicitly acknowledging the nature of the incestuous relationship between its main protagonists, Giovanni and his sister Annabella, nevertheless allows Giovanni to pursue the logical ends of his own teleological confusion. In doing so, the play invites questions not only about the role of religion itself, but more specifically about the role of the individual who negotiates religious law in the quest of his own hedonistic satisfaction.
