another silly question but i'm totally in the mood. i know i can't blackmail God but i'm a huge romantic, i love love & passion and yet it doesn't happen. i think i'm quite a good person so why doesn't love come my way. i mean, romantic love. if anyone can relate, please share your thoughts. (i'm not interested in hearing about self love; i have plenty of that, i can't make love to myself, thanx)

Over the years, our world has changed so much. Is there really anything that could possibly happen in the new year, that could shock us anymore than things have in the past? What are your thought about this?

Happy New Year Everyone!

I have been thinking about this question for a long time and the conclusion I have reached is that we are here to live and die confused.
What would be your answer to this question?

I was wondering what other people's opinions are on why nothing does not exist, and instead everything. I think its evident enough that nothing does not exist, as we are in an experience of something - otherwise, we wouldn't have an experience in anything. I've heard some people say nothing does not exist because for the very fact that it doesn't and that's all you need to know, but considering we have a definition to define what nothing is, why not a better understanding of why it's not? "nothing" is an actual term, so I would think referring to nothing as absolutely blank is just silly. By the way, I'm a little drunk right now, but all the better.

Assume that you found them to be wise and benevolent beings and that you gathered that their civilisation was very advanced and harmonious.Assume also that you are young say in your 20's or 30's and single or, if you are not, the question still stands.

So, are you like Elliot in E.T. (Stay) or Richard Dreyfuss's character in Close Encounters (Go)?

I don't think we can rule out the possibility that our whole idea of creation is incorrect. I'm not saying there's no higher power since there has to be one somewhere, somehow. Before you go off giving me a lecture on religion, just open up your mind and be honest.

not the skin of us, not what we wear, what we look like, but what we think, and if thats the case, then does that mean we really die, because our thoughts are always passed through generation to generation, small or big, like albert einstein, yes we might never see him again physically, but his thoughts have helped push man kind, and they are still around today, so is it our thoughts that really are what we are? our energy?

Ok, she's friends with people that are mean and rude to me and downright idiotic. Now i'm not saying she can't be friends with people that she want to be friends with..i mean i really don't care...but when its people that really have issues and are mean to me..why would she want to be their friend?...I mean if it were the other way around i wouldn't be their friend either.

Just Opinions please and no bashing. Thanx!

Either for pleasure.
Liesure.
For an argument.
For the company.
My four would be My Brother and father (both deceased) and Plato and Aristotle (a grand mix for discussion of all).
or
Anthony Hopkins,Steven Fry,Dawn French, and Joyce Grenville(for the coversation and humourous intelligence)
But mostly for the "crack"
