Over the years, our world has changed so much. Is there really anything that could possibly happen in the new year, that could shock us anymore than things have in the past? What are your thought about this?

I think we are in for a rough year. 2007 will seem like a walk in the park when we were inundated with bad celebrity children. Bhutto's death will cause upheavals, the mortgage crisis will cause problems in other financial areas, and I think more wars will loom. I think we need to hunker down and be prepared for a really tough year. Plus we have elections coming up and that always makes for a bad year: we have to listen to politicians blather about how good they will be for us. Then they get elected and do a horrible job. Wheee!

Puppies and kittens will be born to romp around the house, looking for faces to lick and laps to relax and purr on. People will fall in love.
Faster work will lead to better ways to raise gas mpg, and moving us away from an oil economy.

That Bin Laden (after all this time and I still can't spell that man's name) will be found and executed.
We will still be in Iraq fighting this stupid war.
The election is going to be a disaster of monumental proportions and whoever is elected will come to be hated, more so than any President in recent history. This President is going to be a man, not a woman.
