Did you ever wonder what would 'you' be doing if you were never born?
If you werent born a human and instead a... cat? dog?
Its hard to ask this because I dont know how to phrase it...
Why are you, you? Why aren't you your friend? Who is what? What is what?

Life would be much the same as it is now....Not much would be different, as i have not yet done anything tht would significantly impact our world. I did not clear the rainforest, nor have I been the one responsible for killing the frogs, which in turn affects the foodchain.My philosophy has not had a significant impact on society.
I realize that I am not my body, anymore than I am my home. It is not the physical being that I call me, but the spirit that lives within me, the part that goes on even after my physical body dies
I am me because of my experiences, which are interpretted by my body. If I had changed one single experience, I would not be who I am.

We are all the same "one" and it is said that you will become enlightened once you achieve this experience of "one".
I would be us as we are when we are one and then the me or I that I feel or think I am would not interfere with the true experience of total and complete reality.
The only thing that makes me who I am is a self-imposed illusion of the nature of reality.
That is the conclusion I have come to in regards to your question.

I like to make-believe that all living things are really just pieces of 1 mass entity called 'Life'. If so, it wouldnt really matter what individual form I took.

maybe whatever form you take you will always ask why i am this and not that.if you were "1" you would ask why am i "1" and not "2" and vice versa.i don't know...;-)
