I'm not trying to be sarcastic or anything...but it's just insane to think that one day existence will be over. I mean what the f*ck does that mean, seriously? We all just kind of cast this reality aside cause of a its 'scary' to think about or 'it's not going to happen to me for a long time so im not gonna think about it" mentality

I think if people REALLY understood this things would be a lot different...right??

Why do we understand we're going to die? That's a crazy "evolutionary" trait of humanity...do other animals know they're going to die? Dunno...been thinkin about it lately...

and he keeps his/her presence and the existence of an afterlife hidden for our own good. So we could develop positive things like faith, spirituality, etc.
Do you think that god could have anticipated all the wars and death that this uncertainty would cause? If so, why would he have continued with this plan?

Suppose there is a machine that can analyse a human body at the subatomic(the lowest possible) level and there is another machine that can assemble the same configuration from a basket of particles. Assume I create a copy of Mr. A using these machines. Lets call this copy Mr. B. Mr B will be a living human since he is an exact replica of Mr. A. Now the question is do Mr. A and Mr. B have the same identity?

Because my method is starting to hurt my head...
Nevertheless, dampening my spirits...

For example, if Christmas dinner is going just as planned...
And I am feeling high on life...
I will remind myself of possible negatives so I do not create disappointing expectations.

If I meet a fabulous guy...
I will remind myself that he could possibly be a psychopath.

I find it mentally exhausting to keep the neutrality of a situation.
Could be this...
Could be that...

You know, someone who's all powerful and mighty and all those people there with Him are total wimps and have no power because God made them weak and totally dependent on Him in Heaven?


The ONLY exception I see is the "Power Team" but that's all.

Another way to think about this question is, what might you accomplish in your life if you weren't afraid? If you knew you couldn't fail? If you didn't have concerns that stopped you from trying?
