I think without curiosity the human race would not have been able to survived.
And the humans who are not curiose profit from the others - like always.

To be human means to not be unhuman or to be Godly in nature. Since we are all human in nature then curiosity is just one of our human traits and with out one trait we would still be human. People can lose some of their physical traits and still remain human because to be human does not have to do with personality or thoughts. It has to do with what we are, not what we think.

Humans are not alone in the faculty of curiosity.
Most Animals are curious.

Take for example my cat, she can't keep her nose out of anything!
And if she doesn't b***dy well stop it, I'll kill her! lol

So we have to look at the level of curiosity.
Here we face a little problem, some people are much less curious than others!
Are they still human?

Not a chance!

I'm assuming you mean "intellectual curiosity". This is one of the things that set us apart fro other species and makes us "human".

good question

many living creatures are curious about the world. adaptation stems not only from curiosity but also from a need to manipulate one's living environment, or to evolve genetically. so depending on what paradigm you focus on, it could be yes or no.

Sure. My cat is curious about practically everything. Plus, humanity is a biological distinction. It has nothing to do with emotions.
