If you had foreknowledge... that you would be one of a few post-cosmocataclysmic survivors on Earth as a result of an intruding and passing star system that catapults all of Humankind back to a "Neobarbaric State" where all of our current global technoculture is entirely wiped away without a trace... what 5 items would you take with you into the "New Earth Age"?

If you have money you can think about peace, art etc. But if you have not you can think only about: where to earn.
So what is better: poor but happy or rich and unhappy

Ok, lets say you go to a movie, and you ponder deeply about it's message..
And then you meet a few aquaintances for lunch and you notice the way the tables or the food is aligned.
And then you appreciate that you're outside in bustling surroundings with two potential friends.
And while you're walking back you take in the breeze of the night?

..does anyone do that, or planning to? Is it silly?
Cos I know alot of people shut off their thinking and emotions in daily life. Are we missing messages this way?

So in the end, there is not logic, just emotion.

... there is no trick, or any abstraction in this, just a simple question to ask yourself – do I like the room I am in? It is always a real room made out of bricks and mortar, a normal containment of four walls, with doors and windows.

In response to my question you might say – yes, I do like the room I am sitting in right now, and answering questions posed by people sitting somewhere equally likeable. If this is the case then there are pretty good chances that you know what you like, or dislike, in your world in general. But if the answer is a negative, then you have two options: either it is the time you left that room to find somewhere you liked better, or you would set down to work, and did not rest doing whatever it is that needs to be done until you started liking what you have around you.

I suggest that wherever you are, office, home, public place, take time to ask youself this simple question, answer honestly, and then face the situation.

Does your life tick along nicely and happily because you are "blessed" with what makes you tick? What DOES make YOU "tick"?

It seems that people are quick to disregard the possibility that God exists. To them I ask this: What is the definitive evidence that he doesn't.
I think that often times because he doesn't react the manner or timing that we as humans think he should, then we will dismiss his existance. However, if he really exists, is it possible that he may not react and respond the same way that we do to things. While there is always sceintific answer for things of our human comprehension, there is no way to disprove something that is divine and SUPERnatural. So to all those that do not believe, I can understand the skepticism of the average person about God existing, I really can. But if it is a God and he wants us to love him through faith and the Choice to believe in him, is it possible that he wants us to love him not only because we see him every day and know for sure he exists but because we believe in something good in our hearts?
Aetheists will be angered but this is just a question.
