An act that is the result of primarily emotional motives and is most often meant to have an impact on a primarily emotional level.
Emotions are often convenient because they can overcome many cultural and linguistic barriers so it is a great form of communication.
Like blowing up a set twin buildings in protest and outrage, these emotions were clearly recognized and responded to in kind...tisk tisk how we, the students, have failed the greatest of humanity's teachers.
