It seems that people are quick to disregard the possibility that God exists. To them I ask this: What is the definitive evidence that he doesn't.
I think that often times because he doesn't react the manner or timing that we as humans think he should, then we will dismiss his existance. However, if he really exists, is it possible that he may not react and respond the same way that we do to things. While there is always sceintific answer for things of our human comprehension, there is no way to disprove something that is divine and SUPERnatural. So to all those that do not believe, I can understand the skepticism of the average person about God existing, I really can. But if it is a God and he wants us to love him through faith and the Choice to believe in him, is it possible that he wants us to love him not only because we see him every day and know for sure he exists but because we believe in something good in our hearts?
Aetheists will be angered but this is just a question.

If God did not exist: then there is no cause for that which exists. Without a creator-god that which is would have an infinite regression of causation and thus the universe would already be infinitely old to account for an infinite series of cause. Scientists say that the Universe will one day die. If this is true and there were no God it would have already ceased to exist as it is now, an infinite amount of time having already occured before now.

So either the universe is infinitely old and the scientists are completely unreliable, or there is a God.

I wish nonatheists were more informed.
An atheist is not necessarily defined as someone who "firmly believes god doesn't exist". Most are people who simply lack the belief in god.
I'm not claiming there is no god for sure. But I see absolutely no reason to believe from the lack of evidence.
You can't disprove anything anyways.
You can't disprove the flying teapot orbiting the sun. You can only come to a logical conclusion that it more than likely doesn't exist.
Most atheists have given more thought to a god than theists, and THEN come to the conclusion of what they believe.

i'm basically someone with constrained perceptions, in basic terms like all and sundry else. I believe God does exist, yet not in any anthropomorphic experience that ought to have the potential to be shown or measured scientifically. This being the main possibly reason for the a while outdated debate, I end that i won't supply any relaxing answer that ought to persuade you the two way.

I'm not angered.

but really, we live in a world, where we can break down the universe into elements or even subatomic particles.

just as we get closer to the end of the universe, the less significant the universe is. such would be the case with god. is god an individual like my neighbor, or the moon, or is he more. if you suggest there is a god, that is more than a single object, but the creator of all, the closer you get to the totality of omnipotence, the less real that totality becomes.

kinda like einstein's relativity theory, that time slows down as speed increases. omnipotence would lessen the greater the godhead becomes.

the church just wants your money, so you just stick with that.

Oh pooh, there are enough people who want you to prove that god exists vs those who want to prove that god does not exist. Now if you go out of that box where the two factions joust it out with the prove-it-to-me-no-you-prove-it-to-me brouhaha, there will be other boxes where you find the my-god-is-better-than-your-god vs the oh-yeah-your-god-is not-a real-god.
I will sit out quietly in the corner sipping some cappucino.

I'm not really an atheist so I'm not angered. But the bible is full of references to God manifesting here on Earth. Why should we go on faith now if the bible records so many instances where he proved his existence?

Your faith is fine, and you may be absolutely correct, but step back and consider who really needs to "prove" their side here.

Proving non-existence is a double negative.

Relying on something in a book, that is documented nowhere else, because someone's family (and generations past) has brainwashed them since infancy..... really is sad.

I'm not angered by your question. Just saddened.

I'm sorry, who's God are you talking about here. There seems to be more than one religion.

Define "God" and I will show you evidence against whatever definition you bring.
