Teenagers don't listen to reason.
We used to talk about ignorance is bliss when I worked in a OB dept of a hospital. There were some women coming in to have babies and they had no idea what they were getting into. So we would say it was probably better that they didn't know what was going on because ignorance was bliss.

I think you are asking the question wrong. I think your question should ask "What universal truth do you wish you had learned (or understood) and followed. It is when we don't learn and follow truth that people will be on the internet posing sad questions such as yours to others. If I were to answer my own question as to which truth I wish I would have had my parents learn is that without Jesus Christ, Parents pass on their godlessness or sins to their children.

There is absolutely no truth that I do not wish to know. Knowing the truth gives you power and enlightenment, ignorance of it brings misery.

can't think of one, good question! Truth is best if reality is what you need to work with. Truth is to be avoided when deception is the plan.
