i dont think he has a horrible voice.. his voice is different and unique from everything you hear every day... the same old kinda voices and his unique voice matches his wonderful unique lyrics...

Actually, his voice wasn't all that bad in his early years. Listen to Lay Lady Lay. Most of his work was done in an adopted accent that he thought was important to the delivery of his songs. He never claimed to be anything more than a balladeer.

Eh, it's all on perspective.
I think he has a wonderful voice that complements most of his songs perfectly.
Listen to Visions of Johanna.
He sounds rusty and untrained, and it's beautiful.
Would it really be that great if it were sung by someone conventional?

? He can sing a tune, he doesn't have the best range, but he is one of the best lyricists of all time so I don't think he's got too much to fret about.
