If not, what are some ways you think you could improve it? Or improve others as well? Thanks!

I am a Christian, and obviously against murder in all forms. But think without faith or feeling....what would be bad about murder to the human race in general and to society if it was legal to murder. Morals and feelings (such as kindness and love) cannot influence this opinion. Why would it be bad to murder otherwise? Think carefully.

For instance, I just sprayed myself with some perfume that I got in Paris. It didn't remind me of Paris, but it reminded me of an apartment I used to live in near the beach. I remembered what it would sound like waking up, having to move my car from one side of the street to another every Thursday and Friday, going out the front door and all the wine and cheese parties I had there and all the stories we would tell at them.

What scent or smell does that sort of thing for you?

How long will it take to pay this war bill, will we end up feeling like slaves before it's all over....? Indeed is that what we are all becoming just a stepping stone, for generations to come..?

Solipsism is an interesting philosophical idea, one that think is impossible to prove wrong. Prove me wrong.
Any opinion is welcome, i wanna hear all aspects of this.

Ohh and i dont believe in Solipsism, although i sometimes have flashes when i think i should. Its impossible to explain. Anyway, peace.

answering questions with more questions is futile
there is no one truth; keep looking for it and it'll bring nothing
ah yes some of us are fascinated by it, but at the end of the day, the only truth is that there is no truth - that is simple and beautiful - keep it that way
go away philosophers

Do you think the world would be better with just science or with just religion--or something else? If something else, what? And whatever your choice, why?

I have read some answers here in which people made light of a person's Q or A because of their age. (I am not assuming that. That is what was said.) So, it made me wonder.

Please expand on the following in addition to answering the questions above, if you care to. Thanks in advance.

If we hold true that our experiences play a role in our view of reality, how can we rule out the possibility that someone with less experience than us holds a view of reality that is any less valid than our own?

When it comes down to it, the closer you are to examining something objectively, the closer you are to what is universally true. So, acquired experiences, being subjective as they are, don't necessarily make you wiser, so much as, they give you more knowledge from which to extrapolate. What you do with that knowledge is at the heart of wisdom. It might even be argued that lack of experience allows you to be more objective.

Side note: In my own experience, younger people seem to be much more open to possibility.

Then he would know those who would choose sin, and therefore freewill would just be an illusion.
Dont give me the "He wants us to choose on our own" argument, because it could not be true.
He would KNOW what we would choose. Therefore God must create evil

I have read some brilliant answers on Y!A. It made me wonder if any askers here have taken any of the answers and used them to their own end (as a basis for a thesis, for example) without crediting the answerer.

Then, naturally, because this is how my mind works, I wondered how much of what people post as answers was plagiarized by them.

(Then people are plagiarizing plagiarized material.) Please make my mind stop! :)

I am putting this in Philo because that is where I see the most brilliant answers. :)

What I mean is that do you think that another world exists apart from the human one?
Me: "I think that a magic world exists... I know that's silly for some of you but I've always wish it. Sometimes I don't believe it but one of my friend also believe in magic so that encourages me to believe in magic. Even if magic doesn't exists in OUR world maybe there's another world hidden somewhere... where magic and supernatural things really exists... I've always think like that."
