My opinion is not "a simple yes or no" - is yours? It shouldn't be. Yes or no to what? Is it ethical? Is it fair? Is it necessary? Does it go on? What?

I'm all for animals experimenting, why not? If sheep want to try eating psychoactive plants or dolphins want to try bisexuaity who are we to judge them? As for your ridiculous demand for a yes or no answer I think that you have closed your own mind to experimenting. Live a little! But don't make the bunnies get shampoo in their eyes, try it on yourself first!

Absolutely, the purpose of animal testing is not to kill our own first. If another animal were superior, they would probably do the same thing.

you asked for just yes or no, but that's ridiculous. i have to explain why. what we learn about humans from animals, esp in psychology is really fascinating stuff.
of course we don't need to do animal testing of shampoos and needless torture to find out that the shampoo stings the eyes, yeah we can figure that one out ourselves

Other species are too different for the results to be reliable and they are not there to be used for our benefit. Also, many of the remedies are already known and prevention is better than cure.
