I believe it was when I was in the third grade.....or there abouts. I was playing in the living room and tripped which resulted in my forhead hitting the corner of the coffee table. Well, we all know how much a head wound bleeds, so being a little kid and seeing all that blood, I obviously freaked out and started doing that" running around in a circle dance" while screaming at the top of my lungs. Well, once I gathered myself, I ran to the medicine cabinet only to find an empty box of band-aids which still happens to me this day. Anyway, I digress. So, seeing that empty box of band-aids really pissed me off and only added to my panic until, that is, I remembered that my mom kept her band-aids upstairs in the bathroom, so I ran up the stairs and opened the drawer to see, much to my relief, that the box was still full. Before I continue, this happened during the seventies and both of my parents were already at work, so I was your typical, run of the mill "latch key kid". Where was I.....oh yes, the box was still full, so I hastily grabbed one of her "band-aids", found the adhesive side and put it on the wound. Well, on my way to school and being proud of myself for tending to my own life threatning gash, I was stopped by Latisha who asked in an innocent, inquisitive kind of voice, "uhhhhhh, why do you have a pad on your head?"

To this day, whenever I happen to run into Latisha, she still brings it up. Yup, sweet memories of youth.....my ***!!

I can remember my classmates birthday party before we started school (kindergarten). His mother was the secretary @ the school so basically she had everyone's address from registration. so I would have been 5 or 6 years old.

Now had you asked this question when I was 10 or below I could have given more memories. So as the older we get the faded the younger memories become.

I remember when I was four years old, I got in trouble for the first time in pre-school. (I was a REALLY good kid). We were in the playground and this boy got off of his tricycle. So I hopped on. He cam back bitching at me and told the teachers that I wouldn't give it back. So I got of the tricycle and practically threw it at him. The teachers sat me in the corner for time out and forgot I was there until the end of play time. I remember cursing everyone out in my head as I sat there because I knew it was bull. Of course I wasn't cursing because I was 4, but you know what I mean. I guess I had some pent up aggression.

I can vaguely recall my 4th birthday. First solid memory is the house we lived in when I was 5--not an event, I admit, but still, the 1st thing I can swear to remembering.

My sister can remember things from when she was 2.

I was 1 yr old when we moved into a new house. My mother put me in the highchair in the kitchen window to watch my parents and older siblings move things into the house. I was also there when I watched my dad use a big cement pipe to roll the sod he had put down in the front yard.
The watch warden knocked on our door to tell my parents I was opening the blackout curtains during the war.

I remember sitting on my grandfathers lap in his EZ Boy chair and being fascinated by the texture of the hair on his arms. I can remember the way his skin smelled and the scent of leather from his chair.

He died when I was nine months old, so I was less than a year old.

My eldest brother (who is no more now ) came from work in a bicycle. I was so much fascinated by the cycle that I immediately asked him to get a cycle for me. The very next day I had a tri wheel one and I was thrilled! I was three at that time.

Good question! Umm lets see....my mom leaving me alone at Disney World when I was like 4 years old. I vaguely remember speaking fluent Spanish when I was like 3...that one was the coolest memory of them all.
