Let's face it, humans are the most morbid and savage creatures that walked this earth... All they do is try to hurt another of his kind and kill his fellow human in order for him to gain the upper hand... These are just the basic ideas for it... Everywhere you look there's always violence, crime, pain, suffering and death... And the root cause of it all are humans... Do you think that humans will eventually change? And if they do, is it for the better or for worse?

Is there a fundamental problem at all between these ideas?
The idea is that education gives a person more tools with which to understand the world, and thus, to make good decisions about it.
Democracy holds that the dignity of man must signify each individual's voice needs to be heard equally.
But clearly, not everyone has the same knowledge of the world. How can democracies solve this dillemma and avoid becoming mob rules?

so i understand, i think, the current paradigm re. the earth's creation....but where does all this H20 come from?? that seems to be the bit that is glossed over in every 'earth history' i've seen(including the current and highly enjoyable wow-sci show on bbc2...even tho last week he stated that man has been around for several million years and not the 40-80,000 years i think is a more conventional understanding!). kknowledgable help would be appreciated - ty in advance

What do you think? Is pride more important than Life or the other way round? I've got a male friend who thinks that pride is more important than life, but i disagree. Is there something different about boys' views and girls'? I'm a girl and some of my girlfriends thinks that this world is cruel and we need to fight in order to go on living comfortably. And I agree to that. I guess that we girls are too pessimistic, or are boys too optimistic?

Cuz there is no animal souls in heaven like bible describe...soo, what a waste of animal souls we got since the world created....watta waste, there must be soul RECYCLE

remember that website - like you calculated how much money your worth? - well i dont mean so much like that. but for your personal identity, and how you define your life's worth ---

if someone the same age, sex, weight, height, color, etc... dies in a fire - and i dont... then what defines my lifes worth and her life's evident demise..?

what do you need in life for it to be worth living? i guess you could put it that way.

have you ever lost someone and wondered the significance of your life versus theirs?

what defines what you are worth?

john locke considered
personal identity (or the self)
to be founded on
consciousness,
and not on the substance of either
the soul or the body

tell me what you think...

morbid question maybe, but lets face it we're all going to die someday, so we might as well talk about it ;) what's your preferred way to die? I heard of a man who literally laughed himself to death- I'd love to go out like that!
