Absolutely not my friend. Happiness is what life should be. Whether you seek it or not happiness will be felt. Happiness is part of life. Sometimes we feel sad and sometimes happy. However, if we seek for the pursuit of happiness there will have a meaningful life. A life to be valued as it brings happiness to us. Positive outlook in life brings joy and happiness in life. We must
just be optimist.
Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

You are pointing out 2 different things. I may think that the search for happiness is sensible rather than absurd yet still agree with your second statement that happiness is there when you do not seek it, or I may agree with both of your statements and think like you after all. So those 2 phrases you put in one question are not syllogistically logical.
Also, although it is true that happiness may be present that is why you do not seek it anymore, it does not mean that when you do not seek it, you already have it or you will consequently have it. "there is happiness only when you do not seek it", the word "only" disproves your statement already. There may not be happiness when you do not seek it simply because you're apathetic or you're not in the mood to be happy. And it also does not follow that if you do not seek it, you will attain it.
The search for happiness is never absurd because happiness is what we live for, it is that which makes our life worthwhile. So why would you not want to have happiness when you do not have that thing that gives meaning to your life?

Who in this world wouldn't wanna be happy? To let the chance of being happy is even more absurd. They say that people who fall in line in rides are stupid. They wait for a long time only to experience something for just a minute. But they're actually not because they still seek happiness even if they know it takes time.. (",)

no, i dont think its absurd to seek it, nor do i think its only there when you dont seek it
perhaps they mean you should be focused on what is in front of you, willing to see and feel happiness, instead of have it as a goal that is somehow distant from you, from everyday events in your life

If you're seeking happiness, then you can't be happy...
Learn to: Just be happy.
It's not too hard, really.

no, i think happiness is a reflection of personal opinion, and only part of the perception of ones own reality.
