Love is the act of considering the self interest of another as though it were your own.
It is what allows us to form couples, groups and nations.
The opposite of love would be sociopathy or anarchy. I.e. the unwillingness or inability to form interpersonal bonds.
Hate is NOT the opposite of love, we hate those who hurt the ones we love. Love isn't really an emotion, it is a conduit for emotion. Love conducts hate quite readily.

true love doesn't exist therefore it cant have an opposite! no one really loves thus it cant exist by itself, its always accompanied by hate, love and hate are one and the same. they dont exist!
