What do you think? Is pride more important than Life or the other way round? I've got a male friend who thinks that pride is more important than life, but i disagree. Is there something different about boys' views and girls'? I'm a girl and some of my girlfriends thinks that this world is cruel and we need to fight in order to go on living comfortably. And I agree to that. I guess that we girls are too pessimistic, or are boys too optimistic?

My experience says that it is 50/50. I know a lot of proud women. When you work hard all your life and have accomplished a lot then I guess your more proud. That is not to be confused with stubborn. Male pride is often not the same as pride in general. I know, I am a male and I have some cocky acquaintances.

A life without pride is a tragic life. But pride without life is a tragic life too. The best solution is that they are equally important to each other and one must find both or have neither.

The problem with guys is that we were brought up to defend our family and home. We were brought up to be MEN. And a real man (according to the world) doesn't back down. He's strong and afraid of nothing.
Unfortunately pride is what gets guys, gangs, angry drivers, etc murdered.
Life is much more precious. You can't take pride with you when you die.
