Even if you were any one of a billion species that you have in your mind, you would be asking the same question. This is when you think that human beings are just one of many of the species, as commonplace, banal and trite as just about any thing else living in the universe. But the question shows that your being a human does have its significance, and that is to express your sense of wonder. Your sense of wonder is what distinguishes from what you are not. Do you wonder what is this world all about? If you do then you should know that you are lacking in purpose yourself, as once you know what is the purpose of you life everything seems to fit into that vision, or aim. This is to say that we express wonder about things that we do not know about and in this case it is the purpose behind everything - but this is just an example, and by no means I have a right to assume that you do not have a proper sense of your purpose in life.

Your sense of wonder, and therefore your questioning, perhaps is the only reason that you are a human and in that you are what you are. Besides this, I see no other reason whatsoever for you not being just about any other being living on any other planet in far fetched parts of yet another galaxy somewhere, perhaps, in another universe. I wonder. This is an existence of wild and varied possibilities where anything can happen, as it does happen. I would say that I had not asked this question here you might have entered into a another parallel universe and disappeared altogether or might have stayed right here but not doing what you are doing right now.
Keep asking good questions like this one whenever you are not sure about things, and keep safe!

Because bestiality is illegal in most countries? And hey, assuming your parents are human, you're going to be human too.
Basic genetic fact.
Oh, and good luck on finding a billion different species on this ball of dirt.

You would not want to be a cat in some South Eastern Asian countries!! Even in Italy they were used to make violins.

I do not know why, but here I am and I will make the best of it.
