Just thought it was weird how we perceive the sun's movement through the sky.

I think all of existence and life is a battle of gravity. Gravity is everything and existence continues to be by being attracted to itself, which results in stars, planets and life. The gravitational pull of the earth, moon and sun were all contributing factors to movement/weather in the water to pull together the amino acids that created the first life in the oceans. The chemical processes that the first life forms went through can be compared to the sun's hydrogen burning process. Gravity held them together.

Light is another effect of gravity trying to pull everything else toward it, and it is the reason we exist and have created religions worshipping it.

The same thing can be applied to human consciousness. We want to preserve ourselves and the higher the consciousness level the more attractive it becomes to the lower animals. We gravitate towards survival and I think that we will eventually learn that we are the center of existence, and will live eternally.

I'd like to know your view regarding genetic mapping of the human genome. Some issues are insurance, philisophical; religious; quality of life; and funding to name a few. Please be genuine with your input. I already have a list of pros/cons in each but to top it off I think getting input from others here would make it interesting.

Are you more aligned with Eastern or Western thinking on the topic of hopelessness?

Assume you are a philosopherHow would you communicate that you and they are mentally alike even if morphologically and physiologically you and they appear very different?

Remember this Q has been raised in the philosophy context. Limit yourself to one or two good ideas supported by argument, if you can. The Q is intended to reverse our human perspective about our view of life forms below us on the evolutionary tree assuming life forms may exist above us.

god is almighty, this is a truth, if it's not true then god does not exist at all , don't u agree? the question is: if god is almighty, can he create a great rock that he can not lift ?

if the answer is yes then he's not almighty coz simply he can't lift it.
if no then he's not almighty.

that's why i don't believe in god:if he really exists, i think he lies. if he doesn't, that's cool coz i don't wanna go to hell just because i don't believe in him.

Many who philosophize focus on how to motivate the self or others to action. I take the opposite approach that motivation is a process that occurs by creating desire.

How do you create desire for yourself or desire for someone else?

If LP (Libertarian Party) bases it's philosophy of that of Ayn Rand- i.e.,consequentialism- then this "party" should not exist in the first place (party as a group) Rand "condemned libertarianism as beig a greater threat to freedom and capitalism than both liberalism and conservativism"

and :"They are not defenders of capitlaism, they are a group of publicity seekers"

and so on.
