people here tend to like the questions that they can answer in ways that show how clever they are, or how glib they can be. The irony is that you'll get TONS of responses to this one, but ask something that requires some reflection and critical thought and you're not likely to hear much. Also, I've noticed that if people don't answer your question within an hour of your posting, you're not likely to get any responses after that. It's about the points, really, not about serious inquiry.

For instance, I can't remember the best question on here - I did see that one -- I just didn't answer cuz I couldn't remember.
Also, it's funny because certain (often funny silly questions -- which are okay too) get the MOST answer. For instance, I've asked serious questions and maybe gotten one or two answers. I asked about favorite and least favorite commercials on TV and got about 77 answers!!! There are a lot of smart people on here (and the opposite of course too) but I've received help from everything from cooking to computers, etc. and sometimes it only takes one or two answers to get the right one. Come up with something silly -- or something that everyone has at least a little interest in (as we're all human) and you'll get a ton of answers.......

You have received over 200 answers for 23 questions thus far, so you are receiving somehting like 10 answers per question or more.

The experts are not always available to answer every question, and most may not know the answer you are looking for.

What kind of questions do you post on yahoo, because I am the kind of a person that even though a question, does not pertain to my liking I usually try to give it an answer.

If a question is asked, and no one is there to answer it, is it a question?

Depends on what kinds of questions you ask. I have asked real questions and many people couldn't answer it was my guess.

Do you notice how silly questions get so many responses. So I guess this site is supposed to be for fun only.

Your screen name is familiar, so it is likely that I chose not to answer your questions.

I usually skim the questions and decide what interests me, what I feel I have something to contribute, or otherwise just disagree and want to voice a different viewpoint.

If you would like me to respond, do as you did in this case. Pose an interesting challenge. Interesting being highly subjective.

You need to specify the type of question not answered before I can answer an unspecified question!

Maybe this is your first answerable one.
And if your previous ones were as vacuous as this one...well...

What am I saying! You've tapped-into nearly half a hundred people's interest centers.Wowee!
