...really the "inside!" Which would mean our "center" of consciousness is really the "outside" of everything...Which means "love" would be the most important thing, right?!?

Because what would be the best thing to have as the "outside" of everything?

"Love, right?!?" (see my logic chain?)

Money sucks. No matter what I do, I'm influenced by it. If I hide from it, I'm hiding because of it. If I'm not hiding from it, I'm using it. If I'm not using it, I can't get anything I need. If I can't get what I need, I die. I'm living off of something that I think is wrong. I'm being forced by myself. Is there any escape from money? Is it right to let this control the world? Is it supposed to be like this? Will it ever change?

Haha. Last time I posted this, it got sorted into the ice skating section for some reason.

I am reading a book on logic called "Possible Worlds"; Question: I assume that 2+2=4 is necessarily true, what if someone said that they can conceive of a world where 2+2=5; would this be enough to consider 2+2=4 a contingent truth? Same with square circles; how do you defend the position that circles can't be square when someone says that there could be a world (Limbo or Heaven...) where circles are square. How do you disprove such a statement? What or how do we demarcate between "All possible worlds" and the impossible?

Can the theory of evolution be stated without referring to chance or coincidence or statistics or probability so that God cannot possibly be a factor in guiding evolution?

In a similar vein, can any natural process, such as weather for example, be stated so as to exclude the possibility of God's guidance?

Most people usually have one of two views on life, and I'm just curious as to what views most people on here have.

Some people say they "live for today", and "live every day like its their last". I agree with this way of thinking because when you really think about it, you are not guaranteed to live a long life, so you should enjoy life while you can because you are not guaranteed tommorrow.

Other people say "live for the future" and "the decisions you make now will affect you when you get old". I agree with this way of thinking too because if you are one of the lucky ones to live a long life, bad decisions can cause that long life to be a long and miserable life.

Which one of these "mottos" (or whatever you want to call it) do you live by? Do you think its more important to live everyday as if it were your last, or live to make sure you have a comfortable future?
