I TOTALLY hear you and relate.
There are places to go/ways of being where the use of money is as minimalized as possible. Communities where they barter for each others needs, etc.
Living a simplistic life reduces the need to interact with money. Money monk that I am, I have done so.

Long before the time of history barter was used instead of money. Barter may be a better thing than money. Money indeed is a source of all evil. We cannot get rid of it because it is where our life revolves. If you don't have money it is as if it is the end of the world. You cannot move and makes you crazy and that's a fact. There will be no chance that his will change because it is the form used for negotiation. Banking industries have long been there and it is already a part of the world system. It does not control the world per se but it is a means used by man to control the situation or event.

The world will not change, buy YOU can.
What is "sucking" you is this idea that money itself is wrong, when it is its improper use that is wrong - power, politics, bribery ,drugs........you name it. That is the "world" and that will not change. Money is just the means. If there were no money around, evil would still thrive without it, using other means. It is just the use to which it is put that is wrong, not the money itself.
You do not have to escape from money, just use it for your own good, and if you have enough of it, for the good of others too.

It is not possible to get away from money, and in truth you do not want to.
You are a human being, not a ghost. You need a roof over your head, clothing, food. Those things exist because somebody worked to produce them. If you are not willing to produce them by yourself, you must get some job, get paid, and exchange the money for what you want. There is no escape from this statement so long as you are alive.
Do not think of money as bad. I see it as a tool, to be used prudently. Money does not corrupt people, no matter what others say. The money itself is not morally good or bad, only what you do to get it, or how you use it.

Money is a medium of exchange, no more no less.
Unless you can live off air, you are utilising some of what others' have produced by the means of their work and they deserve payment in kind.
I think your problem might be handling money. Some believe that money like our mind is a good servant but a bad master.

Money is simply a tool of exchange - a means of converting a value you can provide (labor, time, expertise) into a form which you can exchange at a later occasion for items or services you want or need. It is a means of enhancing the management of your time. It increases your ability to enjoy the hours of your life. This is what is called the "root of evil"? This is what "sucks"???

I can't see it happening real soon.
There will be and always has been a form of payment even bartering is a form of payment .
I think we should try bartering more often. Especially if it was agreed upon before hand.

You only hate money because it controls you instead of you controlling it. Learn to control it and you at least can be friends. Good luck and welcome to the world.
