Once upon a time I did an Acces course ... Preparation for doing TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) at Middlesex university it was meant to be.
I went to the university open day and was told by the professor that he would be happy with me, as a mature student, if I understood biology to A-level standard. I told him I wanted to further my study on a philosophical/theoretical level after i finished the degree course and he was fine with that. Chinese medicine has a recorded history of at least 2500 years.
Originally the college had put me in the Acces to Humanities and Social Sciences. After I told them what had been told to me at the open day they decided I should be in Access to Science.
It was way too much science for what i needed and asked if i could do some units from both Access courses. Since that was perfectly acceptable for the degree i wanted to do i could not see the problem.

WITHOUT THE UNIVERSALS WITH WHICH THE THOUGHTS ABOUT YOURSELF ARE MADE, NO THOUGHT ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN YOURSELF WOULD BE MADE.

Is this statement philosophically correct?

NO THOUGHT ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN YOURSELF WOULD BE MADE WITHOUT THE UNIVERSALS WITH WHICH THE THOUGHTS ABOUT YOURSELF WERE MADE.

Could you rephrase this statement into a more simpler one?

This will probaly only make sense to active metaphysical people. So if you dont understand dont worry. But here it is. I can get connected to my metaphysical self and stay connected. then out of knowwhere i cant. and it will last for days at a time. it feels as though my door is shut and i cant open it. btu ten it opens an it is okay for ahwile then it starts again. Its driving me nutty. And giving me a massive case of depression. that i didnt have before hand. its liek haveing your sould closed to you after finnally being at peace. i just need to know if anybody else has experienced this. or am i just alone in the dark here?

God either wants to eliminate bad things and cannot, or can but does not want to, or neither wishes to nor can, or both wants to and can.
If he wants to and cannot, he is weak -- and this does not apply to God.
If he can but does not want to, then he is spiteful -- which is equally foreign to God's nature.
If he neither wants to nor can, he is both weak and spiteful and so not a god.
If he wants to and can, which is the only thing fitting for a god, where then do bad things come from? Or why does he not eliminate them?[

3. at least one characteristic all things (x) can have is the characteristic of non-existentence.

ps I hope you see the paradox, yet you also see how the truth of my premises support the truth of my conclusion.
