My answer to your this one.....
Yes, indeed... you would rather be the commonality among the thoughts about yourself. Our view of ourselves is of course one-sided and typically unidimensional.

I feel the crux of the problem today is the lack of understanding of the simple fact that we ( you) are unique in our own way. In the modern world , where mass marketing and mass branding is the order of the day, this uniqueness is gone and we are branded in big groups . American /Indian, rich/poor, Christian/Moslem , black. white ..... we can go on.
A thought about myself , now , centers on not about me but the strength or weeness of the groups that I belong to. In fact , I feel sad if I am not selected for the group.
The day I realise that I make a difference with my uniqueness and my unique thoughts I will make a lot of difference.

Individuality and self-aging-consciousness, self-time-consciousness: Its existence has its necessity, and then has not its necessity and is then a non-being.
