Can anyone describe--and give evidence of--any universal truths outside of these four claims:

Time exists.
Space exists.
Energy exists.
Matter exists.

Isn't everything else just a derivative of one or more of these four things? Please, only include what you believe to be universal truth that can be substantiated with empirical evidence or logical reasoning. I'm willing to hear out any long-winded (read as comprehensive) examination.

The best answer is: "both"! Watch my example: God=Master of universae! He living in to the sky- in to the another galaxy! He come to this planet with his glory=with his space-ship! The first man (Adam) was created like God face=Adam was a clone! When the Son of God will be return on this planet for the jugment day, the sky will be opened=Star Gate! The Son of God say about him self: "I am not from this world (Planet)"=He is an alien who living in to the another galaxy! Will be continued........

Is society better off with unanswerable questions such as why are we here, the meaning of life, beginning of the universe and did O.J. really do it? Are these good for society or are they simply a hindrance? Just looking for some opinions....

why is it when some people r interested in astrology, all of a sudden,, a suppose Astronomer, has to put their 2 cents in as for instance,, how ridiculous, you astrologers r to compare us Astronomers, to you! some seem to even attact with words like were no where even close to astrologers, and some of us r offended when you compare us Astonomer's to your astrological views,,as we astronomers dont believe in you astrologers, as we r two seperate and not of the same! Well, I am sorry to hurt some of you astronomers, but the truth is your wrong!! reasons being,is that Astonomy is the branch of natural science that studies the celestial bodies, The word is a combination of astron, greek for "star" & nomos, greek for "law
Astrology was formerly part of astronomy, with astological determinations being viewed as a practical application"of astronomical knowledge. Prior to modern period, all of the great astonomers were also astologers, like Tycho Brahe&Johannes Kepler. I will give examples

I have read a bit on his philosophy and in the foreward of the book they imply that he was somewaht prejudiced against women & certain races. For him to be such a "deep thinker" it doesn't seem like he should be that ignorant. Is this true?

If and when someone has ever pointed out the fact that humans are animals, too, does it offend you? I've found that some people are loath to be put into that category, although it's the scientific truth. Just because we happen to be animals of the highest intelligence, does not mean that we are not animals. And why would that be offensive anyway??
