It amazes me how tiny ants are but are so freakin strong. When I start to pay attention to all the details of this world around me it trips me out a bit.

Trust me, I've always had the sensation that I live in a similar world that borrows the concepts of Alice's Wonderland.

The story marked me strongly for some reason and I tend to identify with it and its characters. Whether I'm just unreasonably passionate about it or the similarities actually exist, I constantly find parts of this story scattered around what they call real world today.

The story is mainly based on the concept of maturity. It represents the fears of an individual who is stuck in the process of maturity, afraid of moving forward. It's about finding your true self in critical moments when life is determined to test you. I think we can all find a similarity here from this point of view. Life is all about inner growth, and whether we are aware of it or not, sometimes we sabotage our own evolution and we're afraid of facing our natural process of growth. That's why, at times, our environment may seem more like a prison than a personal territory.

We all share Alice's role at some point in our lives.

that sheer wonder at ants, creation, the impossible detail and unlikeliness of the world, I am very familiar with.
It is like noticing the really real, and it shows me how much I live in ideas about the world, and how little I live in the world.
that wonder is like a door to the real, to what is immediately true in our experience.
It is the wonder of the child, like seeing for the first time, cognising, not recognising.

keep looking! I am slowly getting used to it.
