are they the same thing?
If someone is humble or modest, what are they like? (this isn't asking for a dictionary definition of the words, but rather, what the trait looks like in person.)
also, can humility and modesty be mistaken for being conceited? how can you tell them apart?

OK. Lets accept for a moment that love is a chemical process, ok? If we understand that to be true, then you would also say that so is life- which at surface value, makes sense. I mean, you need a sperm and and ovum and genetics and all that. But can the concept of life really be explained with genetics? I mean, if you just keep narrowing it down further and further, you reach a point that science can't explain, and never will, simply because the answer isn't scientifically based. Life is 'created' when the sperm and ovum meet, but is it really life that is created, or does life come to be through the sperm and the ovum's union? Life already exists but becomes so through that medium, because life is not just an assortment of Guamine, Thymine, Cytosine and Adenine. I mean, think about it. Does a random order of those really make life? No, it doesn't, and I don't see how you can argue it does. Equally so, love is something that comes to be THROUGH that process. Your counter...?

I have noticed how often people have constructed Either/Or scenarios in the questions that they post.

Why do they do it?

We have a set rules of right and wrong laid down by society, and I really ca nseem to care about them because I despise society. I have fun doing the bad and nasty things. I look for things to corrupt in my daily life. I can't see the point of going to work and getting a wife and kids and the nsometime when I'm 70 I'll retire and then I'll die. I don't want to live that pathetic life. I see art in destruction and manipulation. I like coming up with scenarios that involve people that I know and pitting them against eachother. I know that most world say I'm evil or amoral or hell, mentally ill, but I can't see this. I simply want a life that is free from any rule and I can go about as i please. Hell, I don't even want to interact with society. Its only that I'm forced to. That is the thing that brings about my darker ambitions. That fact that I am so controlled by a government makes me want to lash out destroy everything that it holds dear. I'm wondering what others have to say on this

My philosophy is that " If you have no goals in life then you can never fail and if you never fail then you can never be upset". Live a total indifferent life. Do you agree.

From the Biblical assertion that "God is love" through its modern conception as the sex act to a denial even that it exists as an emotion love means many things. What, apart from the dictionary definition of it, does love deeply mean to you?
