are they the same thing?
If someone is humble or modest, what are they like? (this isn't asking for a dictionary definition of the words, but rather, what the trait looks like in person.)
also, can humility and modesty be mistaken for being conceited? how can you tell them apart?

If someone says "o it was nothing" or anything along those lines, they are trying to be modest but they would only be modest if they actually think they are really good.

If they say "thanks" or don't mention what they did or how they are great then they are modest.
