We claim to have an ability to intuit knowledge. As people are hurt emotionally, physically, etc. the evidence suggests that our "intuition" or instincts are not accurate.

human mind is powerful and the universe is INFINITE. anything can happen. what if over the evolution of man, his need for supreme guidance (and excuse) CREATED a supreme diety, and therefore anything that is an emotional issue in the believers psyche at the time becomes Gods law. wow. that is scary. thoughts?

what if we are like one of those scary little worlds from star trek. "captain, there seems to be a diety these people created with their minds. it hates everything thats different and causes death and havoc. it wants us dead." then they have to flee, amid 60s soundtrack.

p.s. i dont watch star trek, but it was a good example.

Hi, Ever been in a situation where you feel completely lost ? You don't know what you want, or even what you want to do ? You don't know what will make you happy, Money ? Success ? Love ? Adventure ? Nothing I come up with seems to be appealing. I feel like I am "Stuck" in life, What is my next step. I want to know if anyone else out there feels the same way, or has felt the same way in the past, and what are you doing to get past that ? or if you have been in that situation, what didyou do ?

how can a soul feel anything without senses? i believe you need a body to experience anything. otherwise, a soul wouldnt be able to see without eyes, or wouldnt be able to hear without ears etc.

this is why i dont understand how people can have out of body experiences. can someone explain to me how this works?

In Buddhism, the argument is that people have no Self (or soul, if you are a westerner), because
1) Everything is a process; nothing is permanent.
2) Humanity is a process within the larger process, containing smaller events. We are not permanent.
3)Therefore, there is no such thing as a permanent, unchanging Self(or soul) that carries on when we die.

Is this argument true? What do the people think?

I hear a lot of people saying that we are beyond our sustainable limit for human population but I have never heard anyone say just what is the number of humans on
earth that would be "sustainable". I put that in quotes because I think that we can sustain probably more human life at the expense of another species. So I guess my real question is what is the number of humans that would be sustainable
not just for humans but for every species on the earth to flourish an evolve in their own natural way?

If we set this number out there it might help us to actually achieve it. What barriers exist towards education, policy making and proselytizing of religions that support the idea of having multiple children per married couple?

My question was adapted from a famous movie called "High School Musical"

I asked this question because i was a normal type of guy, i tried magic but my mom always caughts me doing it and she beats me up. I even stole money just to buy cards, because i really like magic, i been fascinated by those tricks that Criss angel and david blaine do, she told me that i should stop doing magic or she will kill me, well i say, kill me if you want but i still continue magic.
