I am many things. I am created in the image of the Almighty God creator of the universe, therefore I am something great. I am an individual with a personality. This though is also because I am created by a personal God, for if humans just were we would simply be biological machines. I am a sinner, because of humankind's, and at times my own, rebellion against God I am separated from Him and condemned to hell. Lastly and most importantly I am a Christian. Because of the life, death, Resurrection, and consequent victory over the power of sin (and therefore over hell) I am reunited with my creator.

who am i?
of course this is a difficult question.
i can only truly say who i am from my perspective and even then that changes faster than i can type.
so the only "real" way to say who you are is via identity,
ok hear me out.
if the universe is deterministic then "who you are" is easier you could simply "identify" yourself based on all the fundamental dimensions of the physical universe,
something like i am the person that occupied such space at such time etc (of course there would be more variables/dimensions than space and time) then as the universe would be deterministic to keep you identity is a matter of determining what value your identity will occupy in each variable/dimension with respect to space-time (if space-time is the dimension you wish to vary).
if on the other hand the universe is not deterministic then there are two possibilities for your "identity" either there is a non-physical entity (lets call it the "soul") that causes the universe to not be deterministic which you can then perhaps find a way to "identify" yourself via the "soul".
-or there is the other possibility that every possible value for each variable/dimension occurs (like multiple universes) then its your decision weather you would like to "identify" yourself as being every one of the possibility's or "identify" yourself by stating any one of the possibility's that is you (this means your identity will not just be of what you have done but also what you will do)
(who gave me the thumbs down "i knew id regret using the word soul")

I am a unique, diverse, complex individual who enjoys the simple pleasures of life. As I grow and learn, I learn more about myself. I am not a static me but a growing, learning me. I relish that. This is who I am.

Anything else, despite your what your friend has argued, is merely delusions and judgments that we make about our selves and others.
