Philosophy - March 2007

I try and follow the "golden rule" which basically states that you should treat others the way YOU want to be treated. If a female calles me a pig, or a dog, or "one who needs training buy a woman" or an extra child. Or my favorite " You are JUST a man,"

To me this is insulting, untrue, rude, worthy of VENOMUS retort. But, comments like this are regarded as humor at worst and truth at best. But let's flip it around, point for point.

If I, a man, in public said to a woman, You sow, Bit@h, "One who needs to be trained by a real man, little girl, or "You are JUST a woman." Not 3 seconds would pass until a posse staked me to an anthill for DARING to speak to someone like that.

Equality by it's most basic defintion, means EVEN, no more on one side than exists on another.

Now, are things truly equal between the sexes, races, or whathaveyou? Disgracefully they are not. But I don't believe acting equally as disgraceful, makes anything better for anyone.What do you think

Isn't it strange to think about how "important" we are all suppose to be when once it is all said and done so many of us will not even matter? We will have done nothing that will have been written down in the history books to say that we were even here. People these days seem to be so concerned about stopping others from having any strong feelings good or bad, or harming themselves or committing suicide and what little green pills are best for that. What have you done or are you doing to make anyone's life a little better so that we all feel like we are equally worthy and valuable, that we equally matter and that life is actually good for all of us. We often hope for the days to pass and then they do, and then we look back and ask where it all went too? What do you feel about this? What do you do about this? How are you actually "assisting" in anyone's life being a little better? What do you think it will be like for our future generations if we keep doing what we are doing now?

To me, I guess the "Greatest" thing about me is I like to help other people. I don't know why but there seem to be a moment of clarity between you and the stranger, so to speak. (I think it breaks the ice of your thinking about each other.) What about you? What's the greatest thing about you? What makes you Great in your own right? And come on, there is always something you can do better, (Making you "King") like maybe you can hump better than the rest of the world, ala Greatest Lover!!! (And I care not about your religion or nonreligion at this point. So any may apply. But tell me what makes you GREAT!!!! LoL)

I don't feel very happy 2day and haven't for awhile now,maybe cause some things I had been hoping on didn't happen.I was hoping to get into fitness competitions but things keep coming up that slow me down,I told a woman I loved since childhood how I felt and was shot down,I haven't had anyone I can really talk to about things and I just feel so empty and unfulfilled.Any ideas on what I could or should do cause I feel like theres no one for me out there and I feel like I'm becoming more and more distant from everything plus I just wanna disappear?

They are stronger in the home (they expect men to share the work load now)
They drink like men on nights out now
They are more likely to make the first move and have sex with whom and when they want it now

Im confused and I don't know who i am bc i dont really like anything. I tried joining clubs and sports but i still cant seem to know the real me. I have chronic tmj, and just want my jaw reset and fixed. Do you know when this may be? Also, my dad died in '92. I never knew Ray was my bio-dad until the next yr. Did he always love me? I often sense his and grampa Cooks presence. Also my great aunt Sini.
