One minute at a time is a great opportunity to contribute to make the world around us a better place to live in.
If one were just busy doing what best could be done in that minute there would be no time for one to wonder when time went by and whether the recipients of ones largess remembers one or not. However for us humans it is quite understandable that sometimes we stop to wonder and sometimes we are so lost in our work that time is not a factor.
I try and live my life as an example for those around me. I smile easily, speak positively, work energetically and leave the rest to God. (It is for Him to make the world as He wishes it to be. What a little drizzle can do, a hundred water tankers cannot do.) However it is for us to plough on in life so that we have our moments of achievements and pleasant memories to fill the rest of the time.

Time flies when you're having fun (& drags when the fun is done! Like now when I'm at work!)
We have to make the best of our time. It isn't always a joy, but we can look forward to the good times. There is still beauty in life if we look for it.
I will likely never be in a history book, but I figure I can do my little part to improve someone's life each day: a kind word, an answer to a question, some inspiration or advice for a friend that's feeling down, being courteous to strangers, being loving to my family & friends, writing songs & creating artwork that I can share with others...
I think each of us has a unique talent & that we should share it with others. If we all did this, the world would be a much nicer place.
Mother Teresa said "We can do no great things in this world. Only small things with great love." Sometimes even little things can make a difference. If I made someone laugh, or smile or feel a bit better, then that's good enough for me!
:)
Peace out.

Is time really passing, or are we blind that we're the ones moving so fast, while time remain constant.
I think its safe to say most humans show signs of indifference wehn it comes to certain matters, that won't suddenly change. Perhaps future generations can look back on our naivity and make necessary changes to better their era. But life is indeed limited and we often don't realize how precious it is. We as humans should appreciate each other a little more, and try our best to cherish every life...though it can be hard with all the ignorance in the world.

In the big picture of things, we are all but shadows and dust (Gladiator was on TV recently). We are totally unimportant and meaningless in the grand scheme of the universe. In a blink of an eye, our species will have become extinct and forgotten along with all of our so called historical figures.
But this doesn't mean that we and those around us do not matter to us. We care about ourselves and each other because of our own self interest, but we would be fools to think that we were more than mere ants in the universe. We are all obligated as brothers, sisters and neighbors to make each other's lives better. As a social animal, we need to rely on each other for support, inspiration and spirituality.

Oh Dear One, those are some very deep questions for which I can only nod and tell you that I know where you are coming from. If you haven't already done so or at least done so recently, you may enjoy King Solomon's thoughts on what you have just articulated. If you're so inclined, you will find his thoughts and wisdom to your very questions in the book of Ecclesiastes from the Bible. Enjoy, and have a great day.

When we are bored time seems to pass slowly. Since we were doing little of interest and being bored for so much of our time, when we look back or mind pulls a TiVo on us. It skips those parts where nothing happened like commercials so it seems the time has flown when we only look at the things of value we have done.

those are with deep feeling you have but the truth is when we are faced with many problems and bored we think about our problems. we think about suicide as a way out but it is not but it always makes things worse. think of your friends you leave behind. the truth is when you do commit sucide you suffer the second death in otherword you will go to hell. who wants that I want to go to heaven to be with Jesus none of us should commit sucide we should enough life it up to God when we go. after all we were created in his and it like saying to God he made a mistake.

SPEED OF PASSAGE OF TIME DEPENDS ON INDIVIDUAL REALISATION AND UTILISATION OF TIME. WHERE AS THE DAYS COME AND GO SLOWLY FOR THE PERSON WHO IS LESS CONCERN FOR THE FUTURE.
