It depends on how you look at it
The egg because without an egg there would be no chicken.

The chicken could be first because you cant have an egg without a chicken

The chicken. The Bible says God made the animals, man, etc.
Besides the chicken had to be there first to lay the egg. Just my opinion.

The egg. This is because the egg is nothing but a giant ovum (cell), and cells evolved before anything else. Thus, the egg always comes before any animal, which is a complex collection of cells.
