Everytime I have new problems, and i know they are NOT huge but I can't manage them. Things in this world are so hard and grim, and of course there is also the happiness and light at the end of the tunnel. I just want to know why there is so much shi*t around.

Everyone has something inside that is truly extrordinary. An attitude, a perception, emotional awareness, and we all have at one time or another have been with a friend, family member, or aqaintence and thought "If only they had my sense of _________, then they would be okay or better or whatever."

Now I am NOT talking about a specific belief, or ideal, rather your abiltiy to express or understand that belief or ideal would be more realevent, if they were your BEST quaility.

So what one thing about you would implant in the general population if you could? Your abilty to love, Your compassion, Your common sense? Your sense of decency? It could even be a natural talent. Working with your hands? Photographic memory? The list may be long, But I only want ONE. So what about you is so great that if integrated in the general population it would ultimately benefit society. Tell Matticus he WANTS to KNOW.

Why doesn't God help me believe in him? Are you gay? Why are you so obese? Do you find life hard being so ugly? Do you think it's your fault that you are a dirty bum? And please, I don't want to hear from the Jesus freaks who feel they need to let the world know that THEY believe in God, and KNOW he exists, and so on. The question is only for those who have gone from belief to non-belief. As for me, it was the problem of evil that did it most decisively. Also that there is just no evidence to support his existence.

Perhaps it’s northing more than semantics, but wouldn’t you agree that it's Discontentment that motivates?

Concerning the question about happiness – I think happiness is problematic in that when happy, people tend to cling to that exact condition.

Insomuch as Change is the only universal constant, any attempt to resist changing results in discontentment.
