I totally agree with the saying, "the gods help those who help themselves." I think part of the psychology of faith is that by having faith in something like getting a job, one will seek out a job more vigorously and enthusiastically because they have that reinforcment. Faith alone does nothing, but faith and action can make all the difference.

No, what happens happens, however faith changes your perception to seemingly make incidents work out in life. You have faith that you'll keep your job and get fired, then you get laid, then you're at a new job and happier. You say faith put you in that position, it would have happened anyway, but faith changed your perception to make it a happy one. I'm not saying this is bad, it's nice, having that confidence and conviction in the world that we cannot change or stop.

i believed i will win the lottery 3 million euros
this is not a joke it's real fact
and in that weekend the lottery winning ticket was coming from an agency in my neighbourhood
unfortunately it wasn't my ticket cause i didn't buy one thinking it will report for the next one, but think at the size of a country what chances are that the winning ticket to come right from your neighbourhood?
what was wrong in my faith, do you think i should have won, that that ticket was for me?
and if so, it means there is a winning in my destiny, i will win?

I think faith in yourself helps you to succeed. Superstitious faith does nothing but enrich the guys that push it.

I'm torn between faith and karma ... I actually believe in both. However, there is something guiding our path.
