i have been reading some very intriging books lately, that have got me thinking about the question: "What is good and what is evil? Does it truely exist?" These books were Jude and Dark Angel. Those who some would say are evil feel that they are truely doing good, for themselves, for others, for something. Those who some would call good can be seen by others as being evil. Those who do good things for others have also done bad things for others. Has there ever been anything that was purely good or purely evil? Does evil wear black and good wear white? What is evil, but an opinion?

"Good is a point of view, Anakin." Was not Anakin doing something he thought was right, but in doing so had to do something that was wrong?

The scientific method requires that the knowledge gained by scientific inquiry be based upon "gathering observable, empirical, measurable evidence." And no one, in spite of exaggerated claims, has come up with any.
Science is not fabricating a theory and then going in search of evidence to support and prove it.
Evolution is not science, it is theory, or better: fantasy, and a rather silly one.
Ever heard the saying, "Don't let evolution make a monkey out of you?"

In addition, for Christians specifically, do you feel a career in art can be blessed by God, that is something God wants you to do (or if not a career, as such, then a life-long preoccupation) or is a waste of time?

I got a crazy philosophy teacher who questiones everything. She asks what is time? What is the past? Does it exist? Does the future exist? I like philosophy, but this women is nuts. She said "When u look in the mirror, what do u see? The person u think u r or the person other people say u r? I told her both cuz I need the other persons to define myself and at the same time I don't follow what all the others think. How can I answer this women? Tell me something I can understand I am only 16 folks! Thanks.

Simply by denying that material substance exist?

Therefore nothing but God exist because God is a non material cause that directly puts experiences in our minds because our experiences are soley experiences in Gods mind?

So he defends his quote by denying material substance? That's how he defends it? I know that later Hume comes in to argue that self like material substance is meaningless, but I want to know mainly how Berkley defends his quote.

We set goals for 1 year, 2 years, 10 years, but what is after that? I mean, we do our best when we know what we want, and just try so hard to get that of we want, but are we really getting in the end a meaningful credible outcome, or are we just deceiving ourselves in this nonsense world? I am 21 years old and I just can't seem to find a meaningful convincing answer to that question up there, and I thought may be you can help me out you guys out there to understand better this world and just keep going. Thanks.

Everything is determined by previous experience and locked in morals. Even the deepest of desires and choices are based off of what is wished for as an outcome that is based within what is socially acceptable. "Suppose your will were free. This would mean that your actions were not determined by causal laws. If no causal laws governed your actions, then it would be impossible to predict what you are going to do.Even the possibility of a decision that is outside normal realm is still most likely well within the characteristics of casual laws

I am under a big impression of a Schindler's List movie... What do you think how at all it was possible that people not long ago having a usual daily life could become so much influenced by one sick man (Hitler)? Is it possible to change into an animal from a human being for such a short period of time? And why exactly in Germany?
