I am under a big impression of a Schindler's List movie... What do you think how at all it was possible that people not long ago having a usual daily life could become so much influenced by one sick man (Hitler)? Is it possible to change into an animal from a human being for such a short period of time? And why exactly in Germany?

WOW! This is a great question. However, it is almost impossible to give a quick answer. Or better, it is impossible to give any answer, but we are rather expected to think and reflect upon it. One very important fact is that these people were not animals, and this is the most problematic point, that shows how administration and rationalization of political system can can make all of us criminals. This fact questions our very notions of morality and responsibility and we are all obliged to take it very seriously. Roughly speaking, they did it due to the commands of their superiors and this was their main defence later during the trials. Many of them have never realized that they were doing something evil.

I can strongly recommend you to read Hannah Arendt's books Eichmann in Jerusalem and The Origins of Totalitarianism. Her analysis of the phenomenon of holocaust and of psychology and mentality of victims and criminals are considered the best and the most original reflections about this issue.

Well in germany because that's where hitler was, no other reason. If he was french it'd have been french. hitlet did it because one he was an amzing orator, he could convince a crowd easily because he was so persuasive and smart. Also there are things like (i don't know the technical term) mass deillsuion. A small group is convinced of something, anything, say fruit flies are the devils bug of choice. That group that was easily dups talks to others, as it grows people do not look at the logic, because the number of people advocating the new idea is so extreme, it's human nature to jump on the band wagon, quickly it spreads and grows and all reason to oppose from those contacted soon abolishes. Those who do oppose are looked at hostily (think of was nazis did to jews) With the combination of this and hitlers ingeniuty and sickness, nazi and anit-semactics ideas where created. Plus, the vast, vast majority of germans had no idea what hitler was doing exactly to irradicate enemies (jews, irish, poles, gypsies ect.) only the nazi in the armies knew, and they were the hit with hypotising and proganda the hardest.
that's how he turned humans into animals

Well, I'm from Germany.
People were so much influenced by that man because of the way he spoke. It seemed like he had all the answer for their problems, that he would promise them good jobs, and a good future. Which was all a lie. He wanted the people to believe him. Actually he had it all planned out in his head. How he could be powerful and influential. He needed to blame the problems of life on somebody. So, who did he choose, the Jews! He was telling the Germans all these lies, that they are the ones that take away your jobs....and on and on. And people became even more bitter towards Jews. He gave people jobs by building bridges and roades (but these were intended for the tanks during World War II)

its called the rally effect.
usually when a country has suffered a major event (especially negative) its population tends to rally behind a leader who promises them to make it better.

a good example in recent times is 9-11. when president bush made a speech about terrorism his ratings went up and stayed up for a while. however if you compare the ratings of today to the ratings a few days after 9-11 you will see a significant difference. (bush suxx)

same thing happened in germany. germany lost WWI, it was in like a "great depression" -ish moment and the public morale was really low. a big part of that was the fact that there were major economic problems in Germany. Hitler gave a few enigmatic speeches, roused the crowd and voila there were Nazis. people were willing to belive anything that could get them out of this mess. so hitler was like "its the jews fault!" and so people were like "okay lets kill em"

Quote: "sarcastically, the brandished, call-teasing schoolyard bullies are maximum in all probability to be the offspring of the call nazis themselves, having found out their habit from their mothers."" I lol'd on that area! authentic, so authentic. certainly, i've got been a substitute instructor for Preschool-twelfth and function yet to take heed to a toddler being made relaxing of for his or her call. I even have, on reflection, seen no remember if or not i replaced into too rude or blunt approximately my opinion. i could be slightly conservative approximately names, yet I even have sufficient common-sense to be responsive to that being hateful to somebody approximately their call possibilities won't lead them to alter their minds. Nor does it lead them to a foul ensure (insulting somebody's parenting skills is yet another insult different than a toddler being teased it is brandished around). some human beings purely have undesirable style in names. :/ Or over think of and over think of roughly what their little ones' names could be.

Germany was in desperate straits before WW2. Hitler promised and did fix that. However, he was a nut case. He suffered from delusions of grandeur and of persecution.

Good God, look at the influence Al Gore is having on society with a myth!!

Same Stuff different Day, Hitler, Hitlery, Al Gore, Joseph Goebbels, People believe what the liberal mainstream press tells them. We could well wind up with a fascist female in the Oval office if we don't watch it very closely.
