My girlfriend Grace, hence the song Amazing Grace.
She does indeed make me breathless and causes my mouth to hang open but I promised her I'd never tell.

Life...just being here is amazing...seeing a baby smile or laugh....the colors of a sunset and that blue the sky gets once the sun goes down.....all these things always amazes me everytime I see them.....looking at the stars leaves me breathless with my mouth hanging open(!) everytime.....and of course the stupid things people do...stupidity is a never-ending source of amazement.

That in this day and age and against all the odds that I have 3 amazing children, who are independent, honest, caring and totally unbigoted people with strong personalities and beliefs that they are willing to stand up and be counted for.
As a single parent I was always told that I had given them too much freedom and let them grow wild, but my kids don't do drugs, drink excessively,commit crimes and my daughter hasn't got pregnant or married and divorced ,or been beaten up by a boyfriend. She is building a career for herself and at the moment is at university. My eldest is teachiing English in Poland and my youngest is following his life dream of being a falconer.
I am so very proud and amazed that I have given birth to 3 such very intelligent and lovable kids.

the human mind.
its so complicated. a person can be greedy and feel sorry for poor people at the same time. a person can kill someone (good or bad reason) and then yet go back and hug there loved ones. i understand its all part of being human. but that whats amazing....
