Excellent question! Probably just to test some twisted bizarre sick theory? I don't think anyone knows or will ever know.

I am amazed at the audacity of human beings, no wonder we are always in such a mess. Here we are presuming to know what God thinks. So many people who appear to have all the answers, and their own lives in a mess. I guess a lot of it is just human curiosity. I know there appear to be a lot of spokespeople who forward all types of information about God, but where do they obtain this information. I suppose they must have a hot-line to the Almighty. All I see is the power of God's presence and that is the beautiful universe we live in. The planet was a beautiful place before we wrecked it, and I don't like to be pessimistic but I doubt very much it is going to get better. We will only be happy when we annihilate ourselves and everything else around us, so where is the evil, it doesn't take a genius to work that one out. Do you think there is any evil on Mars. or Jupiter or the Moon, no of course not, but as soon as we step foot on those places there sure would be, we would be fighting about who owns it. One of the saddest parts of the Bible I ever read was in the Old Testament somewhere, where it said God regretted ever having made human beings. I don't think evil in itself is bad, I guess it's like a gun which sits on a table, it's harmless until you pick it up and shoot someone with it, that's evil.

Well,
assuming the God theory is correct, he didnt. Humans did.
Simple as that. Ever since Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, God has not hardly played a role in life, simply watched over.
We make the Evil, but without evil, there would be no good. Good and evil level eachother out, wrong and right, nice and mean. We humans create both.

Evil was not created by God or anyone. God has a perfect plan for our lives set out in His Word - the Bible, but has given us free will to choose. We can either choose to follow the Creators instructions or not. If we choose not to then that is what is regarded as evil i.e not doing God's will.

Actually God did not create evil, according to the word of God which includes the book of Enoch, the dead sea Scrolls, the Book of Jasher, the book of Jubilees and the Apocrophal Books. Even in the Bible alone it states after each day of creation that: "And God saw that it was good and the evening and the morning was the 1st, 2nd,3rd and so on day, and on the 7th day God rested.
The evil was created by the rebellion of a 3rd of heaven against God, who it says saw the daughters of men that they were fair (or beautiful) came down to earth and took wives of all whom they chose, and taught all manner of things that corrupted mankind. The book of Enoch goes into great detail in this matter and even states that Enoch who walked with God supervised the fallen angels in the building of the Great Pyramid of the Giza plateau as a means of supplication or of begging forgiveness of the "Most High". This coming about after the lord stated to them: "If you being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much so then will your father in heaven do for you? You see the Great Pyramid is God's Word written in stone ( as it is written "in the latter days there will be a pillar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, yet on the border thereof"); the pyramid of Giza sets directly on the border between Northern and Southern Egypt, and it is directly in the middle of the land of Egypt which is the Giza plateau. Also the cap or topstone was rejected by the builders, as was Jesus referenced as "the stone that the builders rejected and his becoming the head of the corner". The pyramid also had 144,000 white limestone covering stones that reflected the light of the sun, much like the 144,000 standing on Mount Zion with a lamb, having his, "the lambs father's name written in their foreheads". Now Jesus was "the lamb of God" so the lamb referenced is him in hidden form. As for the 144,000 with his father's name (which is defined by the bible as "the word of God"), written in their "foreheads". ( the word forehead is a relatively new term created by the medical profession to describe the front of the head above the eyes and was not even thought of at the time that the apostle John was on the "Isle of Patmos") The word that should be used there is a Greek term; the word "metaphon" which means; "the forefront of the mind's eye, or memory. Thus they have the father's name or more literally his "word", written in their memories. Which by the way makes a lot more sense literally.

God didn't create evil. The angels that rebelled were evil and will be punished, as will the humans who do not repent. God didn't create evil, He simply gave us a choice, to serve Him or to serve ourselves and pay the penalty. God knew man would fall into sin.

God did not create evil. Evil does not exist. Evil is simply the absence of God. Evil is a term man developed to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. It isn't like truth, or love, which exist as virtues. Evil is simply the state where God is not present. Similar to the fact that cold doesn't exist, but is the absence of heat. Or darkness doesn't exist, but it is the abence of light.

Evil doesn't exist in the same way Good does. Evil is the absence of Good.
Cold doesn't exist either, it is the absence of heat.
Dark doesn't exist, it is the absence of light.
Free will allows Good to be absent, but that doesn't mean God created Evil.

God did not create evil, God created free will. Our free will allows us to choose between good and evil or making decisions that will lead us down certain paths.
