No. This kind of control is layed on the foundation of fear. There is, however, wisdom in insecurity. To become comfortable with the unknown is, actually, one of the best ways to feel that one is in control. Understanding that security is possible but not pervasive, and, being flexible in dealing with possibilities both tragic and empowering make feeling in control taskless.

The need to have control is a sign of insecurity. It is only when we find confidence within ourselves that we realise that control does not equate with security . It does not give us freedom , it does in fact restrict us. Therefore never giving us complete happiness just fear that we might lose that control.

Not necessarily.
When we reach a certain level of maturity it becomes apparent to us (some of us) that not all things can ever be in our control.
Peace can come to us when we reach this place of understanding.

If you have no control over something, it's not your fault or responsibility when something goes wrong. This is very freeing....we are not to blame. A feeling of bliss follows this.

If that is true of anyone, I do not want to be near the controller. If someone else is controlling us, we are merely puppets and free will amounts to only two words.
