Tough call.... On the one hand, not knowing means I can put aside the worry of when it's to happen. I wouldn't be counting down the days to my own "D" day.
On the other, knowing might make me less likely to take the life I do have for granted.
Something for me to ponder. Thank you.

Good question.
No, I wouldnt want to know the hour of my, or anothers, death.
Simply because I am someone who would absolutly dread that last hour, and would probably cry and tell my family, and sitting around waiting for a death you know will happen and you can't stop it would be enough to drive people over the limit.
Thats just my opinion.

What with the way my pension plan's going, it could be handy.
If I've got to plan for a long run, fair enough, but if I've only got to budget for a sprint finish, I would like to know. Get the sightseeing and the swimming with dolphins in before it's too late.
Second thought... would that be a guaranteed date? Immunity from bad driving, and other accidents prior to the arranged meeting with the grim reaper? (or cool goth chick, if you're into The Sandman) Now that would be life changing...

No I wouldn't want to know. Anticipation of death could make a person anxious and therefore worry about death for the rest of the days that he/she has to live.

What a question. I would want to know someone elses death more than I would want to know mine.
I say that but what if the thought strikes my to try and prevent their death or cheat it? That might mess everything up, so I don't know.

No on both counts. It would be too difficult.
Death is something we can't change. Knowing when would just make us sad & obsessive about it. It's better to live your life & make the most of it without thinking about death.

I wouldn't want to know. If I knew those details I would want to change them. I already lost too many loved ones to not life every day as if it was my last.

Nope. Why would it matter.
If you knew far enough ahead of time to get a pedicure would it really help.
