Everyone has something inside that is truly extrordinary. An attitude, a perception, emotional awareness, and we all have at one time or another have been with a friend, family member, or aqaintence and thought "If only they had my sense of _________, then they would be okay or better or whatever."

Now I am NOT talking about a specific belief, or ideal, rather your abiltiy to express or understand that belief or ideal would be more realevent, if they were your BEST quaility.

So what one thing about you would implant in the general population if you could? Your abilty to love, Your compassion, Your common sense? Your sense of decency? It could even be a natural talent. Working with your hands? Photographic memory? The list may be long, But I only want ONE. So what about you is so great that if integrated in the general population it would ultimately benefit society. Tell Matticus he WANTS to KNOW.

I would want everyone to understand this.

A long time ago I thought that love was something that you reserved for some special set of people that you had judged worthy of it.

After a while I got to thinking about what Jesus had said about turning the other cheek and loving our neighbor I put the two together and realized that he had made no exceptions in these statements. It became obvious to me that he intended that we exclude no one from the love that we are supposed to be giving. I started thinking about my idea of love and suddenly realized that I had not been loving anyone at all. I had simply been judging everyone and every thing.

Judging someone worthy of love is not love, it is only judgment. I actually started to cry when I realized this. I saw just how much of my life I had wasted being judgmental, thinking of myself as a Christian, when I was actually doing just the opposite of what Jesus had asked us to do.

I thought about the verse judge not lest ye be judged, and I understood it for the first time.

I realized that I have a lot of catching up to do. So many opportunities were wasted. I now try to apply the love that I have for the world in a universal way like Jesus asks us to do.

If I start to feel afraid and think that I see someone that I should not love because of something I have thought or heard I try to catch my mistake as soon as possible. I tell myself that I have forgot the truth and have fallen for the same old trick that had cost me so many opportunities to be loving in the past. The horror of this realization is often all that is necessary to bring me back to my senses and make me drop the judgmental nonsense I was thinking.

I still have a lot to learn about love, but at least I’m making progress.

Love and blessings

I particularly have a good looking good tendency to on the on the spot bounce to conclusions before I particularly have each and each of the data. This has resulted in my foot being stuck in my mouth many cases, necessitating my having to assert sorry -- and irritating human beings. what's problematic is that I particularly have typically eliminated this over the years and develop into truly a rational logician who has truly some persistence -- besides the undeniable fact that the knee-jerk reactions nonetheless each now and then ensue.

Sensitivity. If everyone had this it would be a kinder, gentler world. When you feel, when you care, you are good to people and the world because they affect you. You wouldn't dream of hurting them because in doing so you'd be hurting yourself (through sympathy, guilt, remorse, etc.)

Insensitivity/apathy is the source of all cruelty and evil. When you don't feel anything then you can destroy others without remorse. When you don't care then you have no regard for anyone or anything.

As for my qualities, I would say preference of logic over emotion.

But to be honest, if I had my druthers, I would spread around an increase in compassion (that I don't have) because that would make the world a slightly better place.

It is not a personailty trait anymore, however, the image of "GEORGE" looks tempting to all those independent women who will stop at "nothing" to have their own "HONEY" and eat with MadPride.

"If they only had...my relationship with Jesus Christ!"

I wish everyone put more effort into Christ-like living and loving. Wouldn't that solve EVERYTHING?
