As a human being we have different responsibilities to perform, but for making ourselfs happy, do we have time to think, what makes us happy and what makes as unhappy. We are just following the society, but not thinking practically, really what makes us happy.

If you believe in such an entity, how can you be sure of its existence? If you think that there is not such a being or principle or whatever, how can you probe it?

This is the Internet, the anonymous cyberspace: no one will know. It will be our secret: you, me and every other person who is reading this.

(Take it as a joke and show how sharp you are; take it seriously and philosophize about it. I know you can. Or you can just confess and get rid of that burden that sinks you. May be you'd like to moralize about it?)

How do you know that the things and persons around you really exist? May be it's just your brain floating in a void making everything up.

This is about our perception levels ! See, when in our dream, the 'we' in the dream seems very much real and alive as also the other people in our dream (we even meet dead people known to us) ! Now, how to be very sure, that this is again not a dream ! ?

Cleaning up the lab today because we are having the floors done, I found a few old instruments that although only a few years old are new far out of date. This got me thinking, if things like instruments date so quickly could it not also be possible that humans date just as quickly. Could it not be that humans, getting wrapped up in everyday life fall into one way of being, this then getting comfortable they begin to date. The obvious hazards are that we fail to realise what is happening around us and instead judge what is going on by our own standards and try to change to suit ourselves the world around us.

This does not seem to be what animals do however. We have recently addopted two cats who had been abused and mistreated from a local animal rescue group, and they have spent no time make our house their house. Animals do not seem to get wrapped up in one way of being and so seem to handle things better.

Which is it better to be new or old?
Please explain your answers. Thanks

Philosophers and theologians have argued for decades on the meaning of life and what it means for a person to truly "be". I personally believe that an individual's purpose in life is to earn his or her place in eternity by actively attempting to make this world a better place. What are some of your opinions on the topic?

No, not only sex, but reading a book, speaking with someone, eating, excercise, being in love ... it's all stimulation of neural synapes. Is this the meaning of life?
