Not only not lie, but being able to decieve at all. No clever words or whatnot.

And not only how people would be, but what effect would it have on the world, government and all sorts of things?

If you believe in evolution, then consider the following:
We evolved on this earth, the first humans, as far as we know, and are comparable to nothing. That's not to say we are supreme beings, there could aliens we don't know about. What do you make of this: this whole world could just be a phycological experiment. Or perhaps there is another world where life does not need water; who's to say there is not life in the dust and rocks on another planet? Can you even imagine what else there is? What is the world and is life/love/everything we have ever know specific to us? just wondering.

Everyone is unique. We all react differently to different things. Now, we think no one knows us like we do.. you know what we "actually" think, feel, want, need.. It's like we are two different people. The "real" us on the inside- deep deep inside.. And the "other" us we show to other people around us.

But when you actually think about it.. we never get to see that "other" self of ourselves. Other people do. We don't know what we look like when we laugh so hard we start crying. We don't know how we look when we enjoy something, or when we get emotional. We never get to see ourselves in our natural state from the outside. Sure there are cameras and mirrors but it doesn't capture what people we love see everyday...you know those "moments" of us..

What do you think?

I need some textual evidence to support the idea that descartes is not a skeptic but is using skeptical methods in order to show the existince of absolute knowledge. I understand that he isnt a skeptic but is attempting to beat the skeptics at their own game. I need to use information in descartes Mediataions only. General ideas are great but quotes or passages would be the best.
