Over saturation of a sensitizing event will bring about desensitization. The event can be good or bad or a good taste or a bad taste. The same food.....you would probably die. All existence requires diversity....good and bad events, a variety of food, sights, sounds, people, happiness and sadness.

If I COULD have a food any time I wanted it'd be chicken fettucine alfredo. If I HAD to have a food, I suppose it'd be rice.

ice cream... i would probably die because it's bad for you and doesn't have any nutrients, but when you say "could" i'm assuming you mean i could without dying... unless the "rest of my life is very short
otherwise i would eat sandwiches, because they have a lot of nutrients

Still wine and bread, but I now add many cheeses with crackers and olives, grapes and olive tepenade. A good asian curry with poppadoms, mango chutney with many condiments.
