I have done a thousand things I thought to be just normal courtesy for any girl I saw who needed it (opening doors, defending a girl's honour, consoling a girl sitting alone with a depressed look on her face, etc.), and all I seem to hear is "Chivalry is not dead afterall." instead of a "Thank you". Ladies...any input?

the meaning of life is that their is none for if there were there would have to be a set path for everyone and something meaningful to make it so. which means inorder to be so we would have to be the same in fundamental ways which in modern day we use to set each other apart so in conclusion to this we must follow our own path to find our own way and only think on others words not act on them

Everyone is different, they say. How? My life is full of people all acting the same; it's a miricle if you can find a specific person in the crowd. I know they are different, but I can't say how. I know I'm different, but how do I show it? Before people have answered this question with 'just be yourself.' But that is not enough. There's more to it, I know. How can you tell who yourself is?

If people have too much peace, we end up fat and lazy with no push forward. Sure we gain intelligence, but lose ourselves in the process. We can kill ourselves we peace too. Peace kills us mentally and war kills us physically. This is why what we really need is found in the midst of the two not in one or the other. A search for peace is not the answer, it will only lead to more war. History shows it.

I guess I am just tired of everyone thinking peace alone is the solution. If it was that easy, wouldn't have man found peace by now? Oh yeah, he did right? He found war? I wish humanity would just stop trying to play God, trying to rise above nature itself. This will be our downfall. Nature will strike back. This universe can only take so much humanity.

A) You found out a week ago that an eccentric philanthropist that you had met once during a party just left you a LOT of money before he died. B) However, you find out this week that the pain in your back is stage II cancer and the prognosis is not good? Doctor says you have 3-6 months to live - at most 12. C) The "love of your life" just came back into your life and he/she wants you to fly back to his/her city with him/her and spend your final days there. This is the person that you have loved the most and missed the most all your life. D) Your family expects you to be with them. E) However, a provision in the money you received states that you must fly to a 3rd world country and spend the money in a certain country and you have to oversee the disbursement process per the last wishes of the rich philanthropist. The Last Will and Testament states you have 3 months to help the poor and very needy people of this country. Which option would you take and why?

Actually the earths climate is always changing, there have been periods of cooling and warming since the big bang if you will, however how much of the current change is really human caused and how much is just nature being nature.

And if it is just nature being nature do you think we are putting the blame on ourselves so as to create the illusion that we can actually do something to stop the change, and therefore save ourselves. In other words are we all doomed and aint nothing we can do about it.
