If we don't have souls, then being dead would just be like being in a deep sleep, right? We wouldn't be conscious, we wouldn't have any sense of time, we wouldn't feel or think or experience anything at all... right? If we DO have souls, then would our souls be conscious 24/7? Or would we fade in and out of consciousness? Could our souls travel anywhere in the universe? Where exactly are heaven and hell, anyway? Are they in a different dimension?

When I first started comedy, it was amzing. I'd work on a joke and people would be laughing wholeheartedly. Now sometimes I have people laughing but I just feel like somethings missing.

I even do improv and it seems like its made me more weirder around people. What used to make people laugh just makes them look. Its weird. And I don't know if I've become extremely out of it but sometimes I'm just burnt out on stage and seldomly there's no sense of inspiration. I just feel like nobody understands me. I call my friends and they don't pick up. I know I'm a good guy what's the problem?

When your mind passes beyond the maze of delusion, then you will become indifferent to what has been heard and what is yet to be heard.

You will reach this state, when you will get rid of delusion and make room for dispassion in your mind . Then you will attain spotless and deep knowledge of the self and your mind will become desireless of its own accord. Then O Arjuna, you desire for more and more knowledge or the need to remember to your former knowledge will come to an end.

Is Lord Krishna saying whatever felt by senses mere delusions? hence untruths and sins ?

But what if something bad would happen to many others, apart from your loved ones/those most important to you, if you did sacrifice yourself? But what if you let all those dear and important to you die, and it would save many others? How would you solve such a dilemma? And what if everyone that would be effected by your decision knew exactly what you were doing, were watching your every move and were practically standing right beside you? Would that have an influence on your decision, versing if they were oblivious that you had to make such a choice and had no idea?

Wise men, possessed of knowledge, by giving up the fruit of actions, are freed from the bonds of birth and reach the abode beyond evil.

Even if the wise men perform actions, they are not affected by their results; and

so they escape the vexations of death and rebirth. When, O Arjuna, they become endowed with buddhiyoga, they attain to the eternal state of bliss.

What all could be the aspects of Wisemen otherwise "Sthithapranjh" ?

I'm trying to explain to someone, but can't find the words, why exactly ignorance cannot lead to true happiness. The person says that knowledge brings misery, but yet I think that although knowledge may bring despair, happiness without knowledge is not true happiness. Help please?

How do we perceive success? Every one is striving to be successful but do we even know what success is?

I know, most of you will disagree but take these into consideration. I know that this world contains a lot of suffering. But without suffering we would never know what suffering is, and we wouldn't know what to value. Even many unfortunate things happen but they happen for a reason - for the better of life. We become stronger and more determined through these sufferings. We're too blinded to see, but in the end, all suffering will be redeemed. Therefore, sufferings (bad) often leads to good.

first read the poem

Sonnet 30
Love is not all: it is not meat nor drink
Nor slumber nor a roof against the rain;
Nor yet a floating spar to men that sink
And rise and sink and rise and sink again;
Love can not fill the thickened lung with breath,
Nor clean the blood, nor set the fractured bone;
Yet many a man is making friends with death
Even as I speak, for lack of love alone.
It well may be that in a difficult hour,
Pinned down by pain and moaning for release,
Or nagged by want past resolution’s power,
I might be driven to sell your love for peace,
Or trade the memory of this night for food.
It well may be. But I do not think I would.

Edna St. Vincent Millay

I don't always understand what the metaphors. means. i think meat symbolises power, life and death.
What do you think. these things symbolise: meat, drink, slumber, roof, spar, sink, resolution's power, food

Its been about 3 weeks now, since my discovery of an concept that could change the world, into a place where every one has a better chance of being themselves and succeeding in the things they love doing.

Does anyone know where the switch is to turn off my mind for a while, I need to get some rest?

No seriously. Think about it. A lot of people unanimously agree that nobody should kill themselves or be killed, and let's just assume for the moment that this won't cause overpopulation.
