I think you should change your perspective. Trials in life help us grow. We
all have lessons to learn and they are never easy. The next time sometime
"bad" happens figure out what you were meant to learn from it. It is the
only sure way that you will not have to keep learning that lesson.....therefore
it will stop that particular "bad" thing from happening again. It works. Try it.

"Luck" is baloney.

You look at your life and think "Hmm! I;m lucky to have this or that happen to me! Not everyone is so fortunate!"
or
"Some people have all the luck! just not me!"

What you're doing in either case is thinking "My life would have been different (lucky or not lucky) if x"

Then you make the move to "could"-- "my life could have been better if the world was different". It's possible the world had different circumstances that lead to your fortune instead of misfortune, while you stay mostly the same.

But that move is illegitimate. The world could not have been different. You may imagine it so, but that doesn't MAKE it real. Luck is that force outside our choosing that determines our well-being. It is the force that chooses one possible world over another.

But none of these other worlds exist, so neither does the force that "could" change your circumstances.

Accept it and move on.

It's just a string of bad luck it will pass! Go get your hair done or something, Take a hot bath and relax. There is not such thing as lucky charms or spells. You could find a really good chocolate cake recipe and bake a cake for yourself. If you think bad things are going to happen they probably will! Think positive!

I find that planning to the littlest detail (but not to the point of complusion) helps remove bad luck from getting involved with projects and trips. I would say having a back up to important things is calming.
Look ahead on Sunday to see if there are trouble spots and plan ways to remove them.
An external device can help, I use a rosary ring, and thank GOD for all the miracles that was used to keep my truck and me from accidents (I commute in SF bay area - California drivers.)
Bad luck and being nice and pretty are interesting combonations. Being nice does not mean being a door mat, so stand up for yourself, when needed. Being pretty is a solid good thing in your life - just don't over-focus on this aspect of who you are - work on your other good points, and your beauty will only grow, so I read. (Have no experience in this area)
As I believe in moderation - being TOO happy can make one forget important stuff, just as being too sad. Perhaps a more level approach to events, or when you are too happy - don't be upset for the joy you have.
Never talk bad about yourself, or demean yourself to yourself. When you talk into the mirror ONLY be positive. Be your best friend and supporter. In modersation - ha you'll never poop gold, don't get a big head - but BELIEVE in yourself!
I would suggest again that planning out ahead would help in your life. After looking ahead you could get so happy and have no worries as you've cleared time to enjoy it. Now it sounds like when your too happy - life reminds you of chores or stuff forgotten, which can depress anyone. PLANNING and MODERATION.

You are not specific about your "bad luck" but whatever it is no lucky charm or spell is going to help you. There is a saying which says you make your own luck and that depends on you making the right decisions in life. You should also realise that life has it's ups & downs and we have to deal with them. Bad luck is when you are hit by a truck or diagnosed with cancer or something.

My dear friend,
I think I do not possess anything that so special that may help you 100%. Yet, I merely hope that at least me and the others will try our best to give you some solution in which you are the one that will decide for it.
You are right to point out that everyone and every each of us will have to face some bad luck(s) or unfortunate events in our daily life. This is true and no one seems can ever deny it. I think being a mere mortal or human, bad luck is one of those many things that we have to face in our life while we are still on earth. And it is true that every each of us will feel so frustrated about it. But then, some may just carry on with it. Here, I think I have stated my point. Why there are people that manage to carry on their normal life despite of having to face bad luck not only for once but for the rest of their life?
The answer, my friend...is depend on how you see your own life. You know, seeing at the bright side of our life is the best thing to do once you confront with bad luck. Meaning that your life does not end there. Like the old saying goes, life must go on.
Therefore, in your situation, I do not think that your life will be such miserable merely because you encountered with bad luck. I think you feel so bad it because you have been hoping so much of perfectness.
My friend, as a mere human, we are no stranger or isolated from doing or committing mistakes. This one we all have to accept. But then, it does not follow that we all are going to face a very dull life. No! Certainly not.
Instead, it is only part of our 'dark' life. In other words, everybody has uproar in their life. There will be times when you feel that you are on the top of the world and vice-versa.
Thus, I think it is best for you, my friend, to have a thought for yourself about your life and your future. Learn something from the past for your current and future life.
My answer may not answer well of your question but I think it will be worth for you and the others to have a glimpse of this and ponder about it.
In every situation, once you manage to see the bright side of your life, fortune and luck will always be there for you.
Good luck, my friend(s).

How do you know what is bad luck and what is good luck. What seems like bad luck might not be bed luck at all? Perheps you get mad about things that you can not change? Meybe you should be more optimistic? Optimism is not self deception but the ability to focus on positeve side of the situation.

Stop believing in it.

The more you believe that you have bad luck, the more you're going to notice these bad things.

Example: you think you have bad luck. You go to school and you get a B on a test. They are out of your favorite food in the cafeteria. You're late to class because you lost your pad.

Bad luck or just a bad day?

Stop worrying about having bad luck. Just go on--nothing is going to stop you from looking at things in a different light.

All right, I'll be honest with you, but you aren't going to like it...

You need to learn about a little thing called HUMILITY. Humility is the opposite of PRIDE. Those who are PROUD invite trouble to heap itself upon them. Ever hear the saying "Pride cometh before a fall"? It's absolutely true. Even the Christian Bible says, "He who humbles himself shall be exalted, and he who exalts himself shall be humbled". Learn the simple fact that your beauty and nicety don't mean **** unless you STOP thinking about yourself completely and start serving your fellow man with a grateful heart. Do that, and you will find personal fulfillment, a perfect mate, and what the Bible calls "The Kingdom of Heaven." To put it in a more secular way; just remember what the Wizard of Oz himself said to the Tin Man......"And remember my sentimental friend: A heart is not measured by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others." Get over yourself, and any curse laid upon you (and most, if not all curses are self imposed, half of them via guilt) will wither and fade, like the Aramaic parchment of olde.....................
